Beberapa waktu lalu telah dibuka pendaftaran bagi siapa saja yang ingin jadi yang pertama menjajal BBM di iOS atau Android. Jika BBM telah tersedia di dua device kondang itu maka Blackberry akan mengabarkannya via email.
Messenger for BBM dibesut oleh developer Digital Dynamics. Selain membuat aplikasi yang mengaku BBM ini pengembang juga miliki koleksi aplikasi lain di Google Play. Sebut saja Kitten Cannon Pro, Come Dine, Preschool FunBox, Milions of Jobs, dan Video Tweet.
Blackberry sendiri belum mengumumkan secara resmi jika pihaknya telah merilis BBM di Android maupun iOS. Ini berarti Messenger for BBM bukanlah versi resmi BBM for Android. Aplikasi pihak ketiga ini menklaim mampu hadirkan pengalaman serupa yang diimpikan jutaan pengguna robot ijo.
Lantas apa kata mereka? Dari review di Google Play mayoritas kecewa. Terlebih aplikasi ini tidak gratis, pengguna harus membayar USD 2,86 atau sekitar Rp 27 ribu. Aplikasi ini juga hanya mendapat dua rating saja.
Jika Anda memang tertarik mencobanya silahkan unduh di Google Play. Dimutakhirkan terakhir pada 17 Mei 2013 di versi 1.0.0 dan berjalan di Android 2.1 ke atas. Miliki kapasitas 5,4 MB dan bisa diunduh
